Client: Association of Insurance & Risk Managers (AIRMIC)

Brief: Educate regulatory and legislative decision makers about key issues, e.g. risk management, re-insurance, coverage for terrorist attacks, concerns about the growing “compensation culture” in the UK, etc.

Activities: Lobbying and meeting with respective agencies and working groups, such as the Association of British Insurers and the House of Common’s All Party Insurance Group

Producing position papers and documents, writing articles for trade and professional media, organising receptions, and hosting briefings to communicate AIRMIC’s concerns, issues and mission to policy makers and the media

Results: Successful outcomes in terms of legislation, regulation and awareness that benefited AIRMIC’s members and the insurance and risk management industry

Positive media coverage as appropriate to the issue of the day
